Visgen ("we", "our", or "the app") is an AI-powered media creation tool that helps you generate images and short videos from your own reference photos and text prompts. This Privacy Policy explains what information we handle when you use Visgen, how we use it, and the choices you have. We designed Visgen to respect your privacy and to operate with transparency.
Visgen does not collect any facial information. We do not extract, store, analyze, or share biometric identifiers such as face geometry, facial templates, or similar data derived from your appearance. When you upload a photo, it is used only to fulfill your creative request through the generation feature you initiated. We do not build face profiles, perform facial recognition, or use your likeness for identification purposes.
When you use Visgen, you may provide:
• Images you select from your device gallery through the system photo picker.
• Text prompts and optional creative parameters you enter in the app.
• Generated outputs that are saved locally in your works library on your device.
Images and prompts are processed to deliver the feature you request. We do not use your uploads to train unrelated models inside the app, and we do not sell your personal content.
Visgen stores certain data locally on your phone, including your works history, uploaded reference thumbnails, and app preferences. This local storage keeps the app functional when you are offline and lets you revisit creations you saved. Because this data remains on your device unless you delete it, you maintain direct control over your library.
To generate images or videos, Visgen sends the content required for your request—including your selected image encoded for transmission and your prompt—to cloud services that perform the rendering. These transfers occur only when you tap generate. We transmit the minimum data needed to complete your task. We do not collect any facial information during this process, and we do not add hidden tracking pixels to your media.
Visgen is built without collecting categories of data that many users find sensitive. In particular:
• We do not collect any facial information or biometric face data.
• We do not require a username, password, or profile within the app.
• We do not ask for your name, mailing address, or telephone number to use core features.
• We do not read your contacts, SMS messages, or call logs.
• We do not access your precise location for advertising purposes.
Visgen may request permission to read images you explicitly choose through the Android photo picker. This permission is used only to load the picture you selected for editing or generation. You can deny permission and still browse templates, but you will need to grant access when picking a photo. We do not scan your entire gallery in the background.
Visgen is intended for a general audience interested in creative media. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in a manner that identifies them. Parents and guardians should supervise younger users when uploading photos. Remember: we do not collect any facial information, but you should still avoid sharing images you are uncomfortable storing on a device.
Content you save in My Works remains on your device until you delete it using the in-app delete action or uninstall the app. Uninstalling Visgen removes locally stored app data subject to your device behavior. If you delete a work inside the app, associated files are removed from app storage.
We use reasonable technical measures to protect data in transit during generation requests. You should keep your device updated and use a screen lock you trust.
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect product improvements. When we update the policy, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of Visgen after an update means you accept the revised policy.
You can stop using Visgen at any time, delete individual works, or clear app data through Android settings. Because we do not collect any facial information, you never need to submit a separate biometric opt-out—our default practice is not to gather that data at all.
